Measurement of the perimeter of the finger
- Take a thin strip of paper (or ribbon or rope)
- Wrap the paper around the finger in which you want to wear the ring. Make sure that it fits right around it, that it is comfortable and not very tight.
- Mark with a pen the spot where the paper connects with the other end. Open it and place it above a ruler with centimeters, like the picture shows, to measure the distance between the two ends.

Important information
To find the ideal size of the ring, it is useful to know that:
- It is possible that your hands and your fingers differ in the size or the thickness, also the ring that fits in the finger of the one hand does not mean that it will necessarily fit in the same finger of your other hand.
- It is better for a ring to be a bit bigger than the normal, than a bit smaller. That is, if the measurement is between two numbers, select the bigger one.
- It is important to calculate the size of the joint of your finger. If the joint is thicker than the spot of the finger you will wear the ring, you have to take it into consideration in your measurement, because the ring will pass from there.
- When it is hot, especially during summer months, it is possible that the fingers of your hands inflate a bit.
