Larimar

 The blue variety of pectolite, Larimar is a fibrous silicate material with triclinic crystal shape. Its unique color varies from light blue to sky blue with red oxidations of copper impurities.

Different impurities create an almost green larimar, which is rarer and less exploitable. The power of color determines the value of the stone and its suitability for jewellery.

The first and only Larimar mine is the Los Chupaderos Blue Mountain Mine in the Caribbean, in the Dominican Republic since 1974. It attracts luck, kindness, calm, and gives a good mood to the area of influence of the stone. It unites the earth with the stellar energy, opening the gates with parallel Worlds. It leads to paths of self-knowledge and self-healing.

Energetically, the Larimar belongs to the 5th chakra (of the neck, visu) and positively activates the heart plexus chakra. It helps in reiki therapies, in reflexology but also as a catalyst in various alternative therapies.
