Kyanite
It is one of the favorite crystals of every collector due to the beauty of its structure and the strong color of its crystals. Perhaps one of the most unjust stones in jewellery. It is also called divalent, due to its hardness variable, a very characteristic property of the mineral. Aluminum silicate mineral acquires its chemical composition and structure at high metamorphic pressures, one of the reasons we generally find it at high altitudes.
In Tyrol, Austria, in the Alps, in Ticino, near Lake Como in southern Switzerland. In Greece, we find small but remarkable quality quantities of kyanite.
Kyanite is mined in Russia, in the Ekaterinburg region of the Urals, in Kenya, in the mines of Minas Gerais in Brazil and elsewhere. Kyanite is a stone of the fifth chakra, of the neck (Vishuddha chakra). Inspiration, optimism, communication and creativity come from the fifth chakra, when in balance, the cyanide acts as an intermediary in clearing thought.
In the northern part of the house and workplace, we place small kyanite stones in water, for a positive influence on work and career. Kyanite acts in the winter area according to Bagua, the energy map of Feng Shui . Also by wearing kyanite on jewellery, we expand our professional skills and find solutions to difficult problems.
It does not need energy purification, it is a stone-protector of the intellect and wisdom. Aries, Libra and Sagittarius are the zodiac signs that are influenced by Kyanite in work, career and improvement of knowledge.
